“Must do for foodies in the back blocks of Noosaville”
Reviewed 23 July 2011

Being a local I still never take this place for granted. I visit maybe 2-3 times a month. Belmondo's is located in a large warehouse style commercial premises in the Noosaville industrial estate. It is a true market in that you can access all range of fine and fresh procude. The interior has large communal tables which provide an authentic dine in deli experience. An excellent range of fine fare is always evident and prices are surpriseingly reasonable by comparison to other similar cafe style venues. A new coffee 'corner' has recently been added during a small revamp, adding a further character to the market. Overall - a must do for foodies when visiting Noosa.

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 30 June 2011

I have to confess I wasn't aware of this gem of a place until a friend told me about it. I'm glad she did! Hidden away in the industrial area of Noosa where tourists fear to tread is this wonderful 'gourmet grocer'. Belmondos feature small sections including fruit and veges, butcher, fresh breads, cheeses and other gourmet treats as well as all your cooking needs. There is also a small cafe inside where coffee connoisseurs will most likely feel they have died and gone to heaven. Prices were surprisingly reasonable and staff are friendly and helpful. They also make a huge effort in stocking local ingredients. I think it's only a matter of time before people discover this place and they will be able to expand even further.
