Description: Welcome to La Riviera Bistro! Frederic cooks french traditional meals from our beautiful country for lunch and dinner and we have a selection of French Drinks; from traditional Aperitifs, to wines, beers, sparkling and of course Digestifs... We are a small venue of 35 seats on the Noosa River by the Colonial Resort, 239 Gympie Terrace, located on a upper level from the foot path, so keep your eyes up and look for the blue/white/red Umbrellas. We are open mostly Wednesdays to Sundays for Lunch and Dinner but occasionally on Tuesday nights as well during the busy season, like school holidays. As we are the owners operating the business, we occasionally close throughout the year, please look up on our website or Facebook page for more details. We look forward in welcoming you!

“Great value French food”

This is a great little french patisserie which turns into a casual restaurant at night. Being BYO, it is great value, and the food is delicious.

“Ooh la la!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 May 2014

This is somewhat of a "hidden gem" - set back from the sidewalk in a small cluster of shops - you could easily miss it - unless of course you found it first on Trip Advisor!

Beautiful, simple, tasty food, prepared and served with passion and genuine warmth by a young couple from the south of France.

The cakes and desserts are divine (the chef is a trained patissier) but the savoury dishes are equally impressive. We had seafood crepes (one of my most memorable meals), Pork fillet with apple & mustard, Profitoroles, and a mille-feuille (not all at the same sitting!).

Can't get enough of the place - we are heading back for breakfast in a day or two.

“Best meal we had when at Noosa.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2014

Well priced homely french food. Three of us shared an excellent pâté and garlic prawns for starter. My granddaughter loved her duck dish while we had pork fillet with apples and fish of the day. All a good standard at reasonable price. It was the best meal we had during our stay at Noosa. Plenty of parking too although people at next table had taken a bus from Noosa. Would recommend. Service was excellent.

“Very good”

Have been to this restaurant 3 times in a week after reading other reviews. Great to have BYO , their seafood creeps are wonderful and their cakes are fabulous. We have also tried their quiches and bread. Lovely young couple from France are the owners , we will definitely come back to this wonderful place when next we visit noosa.

“Beautiful bistro style just like France”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2014 via mobile

We dined here over Easter and the restaurant was very busy but the hosts managed to keep everything under control and provide superb service. The host was very accommodating of our 2 year old getting him chips straight away before we ordered. The pate is definitely worth trying. For mains I had La Bouillabaisse and my husband had duck l'orange. We were both very happy with our meals and would have eaten dessert but were too full so took away a beautiful berry tart for home.

The restaurant is BYO also so bring your favourite wine. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Noosaville. This place compares to our favourite French in Melbourne and we were very happy to find authentic French while away on the Sunshine Coast.
