We went to Potters for the Syd Lawrence Orchestra Society Annual Convention and enjoyed it so much we have already booked for next year. The staff were outstandingly helpful from the moment we arrived (after 9 hours fraught travel) until the moment we left. The food, for mass catering, was exceptionally good, in choice, volume and presentation. The entertainment was "five star plus"

Room Tip: We had a premier bungalow and found it to be spacious, clean and comfortable.

As soon as you enter reception you know this will be a lovely break. Every member of staff greeting you with a smile, accommodation first class, facilities excellent, food great & plenty of it! Entertainment WOW!!! Plus so many different themed breaks to choose from!

Room Tip: Any room is lovely, clean and modern but depends how near you need to be to main facilities.

This was the first time we visited Potters taking advantage of a stage performance of the ”Bootleg Beatles” who we had seen before and are an excellent tribute band.
We invited our friends although a little concerned that the experience of overnight accommodation at this facility may not be what they would like. I have to say that the time spent at Potters was a great success for all of us, and we would have no hesitation in re-booking in the future.

The leisure centre complex is well appointed almost palatial with quality decoration and facilities to cover most people’s wants during a stay. Food is of an exceptional quality and served in a spacious restaurant by attentive staff. We had a five course dinner as part of the special one night entertainment package and that was followed in the morning before departure, by a self service full breakfast with all the attributes one would expect to choose from.

The evening entertainment lived up to all expectations and the Bootleg Beatles performed the classic Beatles numbers on stage in the Potters theatre. The theatre was also spacious with plenty of selective seating in tiers and with good views of the stage in all positions. A nearby bar served a good choice of drinks during the evening. At the end of the show we were ready for bed but entertainment continued in other parts of the complex until the early hours of the morning for those with more stamina.

We had upgraded our accommodation to a bungalow plus status on booking and found our bungalow chalet ideal for our need and would be for a few days more should we have stayed on.
In summary our first visit was most enjoyable and as a result I wrote to Potters to express our thanks for a great value break. I also paid tribute to their hard working staff who we found most courteous and helpful at all times. If you choose one of the special attraction events at Potters during the year, then you can look forward to an enjoyable stay at this complex.

Room Tip: Accommodation upgrades are available and worth the extra. if you're looking for a quitter area then ask for a location further away from the main complex.

The first time I went to Potters more than 20 years ago when my chlldren were young. It was brilliant then and it has just got better and better. We went in May 2013 not having been there for about 10 years, and the welcome was still the same. Potters is a 5* resort with 7* entertainment. Everthing you need is there - 3 good meals a day, so many activities all day to choose from, swimming pool, leisure facilities, so much for the children to do. You don't need to leave the premises even though there is loads to do in the neighbouring towns, beaches, etc. A wonderful, professional, friendly resort to spend time and thoroughly enjoy. So highly recommend this for indiviudals, couples, friends, groups, families. Something for everyone.

Have fun if you go there - am sure you will. xx

Room Tip: Whichever room you choose it will be good.

Well, it's hard to describe as it was all excellent. Just two days and one night stay in excellent accommodation it seemed like a restful week, with a five course meal then a great show and after that a sing-a-long in one of the bars with a midnight Chinese feast and then a full English after a good night's sleep. Pleasure with leisure GREAT.
