We have recently been on a Mon to Fri break at Potters travelling with Nova Tours and had a fabulous week. There was 6 of us and it was a first time at Potters for all of us and we couldn't have been more impressed with this wonderful resort. There is so much to do its imposssible to be bored. The food choice and quality is wonderful especially when you see how much they are catering for (over 1,000). One of our party was Celiac and another Diabetic and both were catered for very well. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of muled wine and a mince pie which was a nice touch. The entertainment was very good - my only gripe was that the entertainment room should be tiered down to the stage as we struggled to see the shows properly towards the back of the room and we had to stand up a lot of the time and this would ensure that everyone has a good view. We stayed in the single bungalows that had recently been refurbished which were very comfortable and kept spotless by our housekeeper Sharon. We would definitely return.

We went at the beginning of December for a Christmas weekend.
We have been to Potters before and have previously stayed in a bungalow, but this time we decided to upgrade to the deluxe hotel room and were glad that we did. The room was really big and had a large bathroom. There was loads of storage space, a large tv and comfy seats. We were on the first floor so had a balcony plus a sea view. The room was very clean, as was the whole resort (outside the grounds are kept very well too).
The food, as always was superb, with a really good choice.
One of the things we always look forward to is the evening entertainment, and we certainly were not disappointed. On the Saturday night it was the Christmas Spectacular which was fantastic. Also Mark Brewer and the comedy team always get you laughing out loud.
We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to go back again.

Room Tip: recommend hotel rooms

The staff were so helpful and pleasant nothing was too much trouble. The single bungalows were great everything you could have wished for. Overall Potters is spot on couldn't have wished for more and the restaurant is beautiful. We went for a line dancing weekend and it was excellent ... Very well planned. Will definitely go again and can thoroughly recommend it

We have been going to Potters for over 20 years with friends & family. We have seen all the great improvements that the Potter family have introduced and would recommend anyone young and old to experience a break there. The accommodation either in the hotel or chalets is always exceptional and there is always a fantastic choice of food. Our last visit was a Soul night with a five course meal and wine, as well as drinks all night until the bar closed, fantastic value.

The weekend was very good but we were not told in advance that the Atlas Theatre would be shut for the whole weekend as all the entertainment was in the Bowlers Bar.

There was some dissent amongst most of the guests that the late bookers had only paid half the price for the whole weekend. Loyalty to Potters by those that go every year seems to count for nothing as we all had to pay full price. When we asked about this in the booking office we were told to email the marketing dept. They did not bother to reply.

We thought the weekend as a whole from the entertainment point of view was very good but the issues mentioned above took some swallowing.

Room Tip: In my experience all the rooms are reasonable and at the end of the day Potters decide which room th...

Went to line dancing weekend. Stayed in Hotel accomodation which was excellent. We have stayed at Potters before and the service, food etc.was, as always, of the best quality. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Hotel accomodation is well worth the extra

Early December was my first visit ever to Potters - well I've only been bowling for 18 months, so that was hardly surprising.

The bowls rinks were excellent and the facilities were brilliant. Hygiene, cleanliness were top class without making the place sterile! The staff were all extremely cheerful, friendly and helpful and all appeared to enjoy working at the venue. The Atlas Theatre team were really top class and I thoroughly enjoyed the Showstoppers' night, being transported from one musical to another and ending up with all the passion and excitement of Les Miserables.

I went on my own without any coach party back up but fitted in with the other three to whom I was assigned to make up their team for the competition. I've booked again for next December but will bring someone with me as it was a bit lonely what with everyone else in groups. I'm also coming up to the World Indoor Championships in February, so you can see the experience was definitely worth repeating!

The value for money was outstanding too!

Room Tip: I was in a Bungalow Plus and have re-booked this for the next visits. The ones further from the mai...
