We have been to Potters several times over the past few years and always enjoy our time there. This year we were with my disabled brother and I was four weeks into a total knee replacement so it was only my wife who was anywhere near active. It did not start to well as my brother did not have a disabled room but had a single chalet. Unfortunately he could not get into the toilet and the resort was fully booked so we could not be moved. By means of portable suction grips the problem was overcome very quickly and efficiently. It is a shame there are no phones in the rooms as I had to go backwards and forwards to reception which I found quite hard with my gammy leg. However, as said above the problem was resolved so this is not a moan.

The coast erosion has taken its toll at Hopton, including Potters and you cannot get onto the beach as it is full of massive stones/boulders which I understand have arrived from Norway. This was a shame as my wife was looking forward to walks along the beach which we have done in past years. I would imagine the nearest beach is at Gorestone which is about a ten minute drive away and although we did not go,we know from past years it is a lovely sandy beach.

The break we chose was really designed for adults so there were very few children there. We understand the following week some 200 children were expected (school holidays start) so it would be advisable to check your date very carefully if you a) want to avoid coaches full of seniors or b) a lot of children.

There are so many sports to do here that if you are active (unlike us) you can't go wrong. The food if OK and what with three meals a day it is very easy to eat too much. There was no specific Cabernet stars the break we were on but quite frankly, the Potters troop is really, really good and you will not be disappointed with the quality. It is like watching a west end show

It is a family run business and all the staff are helpful and friendly. We did not take advantage of the many sports on offer but still managed to fill out time and would certainly recommend this resort but make sure you choose a break which suits your needs

We stayed in a bungalow plus for a one night special and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The meal was excellent, catering for my wheat, gluten and dairy free diet brilliantly. The entertainment was fab and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be going again, hopefully for a bit longer stay next time.

I came for a long weekend with my 13 year old son Ethan and his two best friends Ollie and Jamie. The cabin was immaculate, the food was delicious and the activities and entertainment second to non. We will be returning again and again and would recommend it to all ages - it really is a place that makes me happy

Room Tip: ask for a recently refurbished room as these are 5 star quality and a good position is one facing th...

If you enjoy your theatre shows and live entertainment Potters is for you. Fantastic food, friendly staff and plenty to do no matter what the weather. If you get the chance you have got to see the Potters Theatre Company tribute to The Jersey Boys. Cannot recommend this place highly enough

Room Tip: Book the hotel if possible, if not the bungalow plus accomodation is excellent

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Potters Resort. We stayed in the hotel and the rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished. Ours had a view towards the sea. The grounds were immaculate, and the resort was spotless. The restaurant and food were of a high standard and the evening entertainment was fabulous! I would definitely book another stay at Potters and highly recommend it to others
