We had an excellent 5 day break at Potters with the family. It was 17 years ago since we stayed last, and there have been many changes.
The food, sport and activities are first class. Our two four year old great nieces had lots of fun in the Bamboozle club! The evening entertainment in the Atlas Theatre is excellent, as good as any London shows and cruises.
We enjoyed it so much, we have booked again for next year!
Thank you Potters!

Party of 23 with ages ranging from 8 to 81. Something for everyone! Great place for extended family short break. Accommodation and food to suit everyone's needs, plenty of laughs and fun had by all. Whole of Potters team helpful and friendly providing a safe and clean place for all. Great memories taken from our weekend together.

Room Tip: Hotel rooms are really spacious and definitely would recommend. The chalets offer more of a holiday camp feel but still provide spacious, clean accommodation. Our party had a range of accommodation from the penthouse suite through to a single chalet and all were clean and suitable!

This is an especially good holiday for children. We went with my two daughters and their families and the children had a wonderful time. The accommodation is excellent and the staff cannot do enough to help. They are always very friendly and happy. The shows are of a high standard but if that is not your choice there is always a quiet place to sit. The food is of a good quality and there is plenty of choice. The only down side for us is the lack of seafront to walk along but you are kept so amused on the site it is only a small disadvantage.

Room Tip: The superior deluxe rooms in the hotel are very comfortable and huge - perhaps a little dated but very clean and airy.

Positives:
- staff all cheerful, polite and helpful
- lots of things to do, organised activities and sports, good variety
- no unreasonable attempts to squeeze extra money for activities
- drinks reasonably priced, especially given the "captive market"
- compact so you can always pop back to the accommodation
- meals surprisingly good (for adults) given how many they are catering for
- family feel
- great laundry service
- clean

Negatives:
- food for children poor and unhealthy (though there did not seem to be a problem giving children adult dishes) e.g. pizza "with a choice of toppings - ropey margherita pizza with some chopped pepper, ham and onion to put on
- waiting times at the bar for the main show were ludicrous 20 mins plus: I was told this was due to lack of tills
- double beds made from two singles
- public bin literally outside our front door
- no room clean Sunday (and not told)
- swimming pool (more to do) and spa could do with investment to expand
