My friends and I visited Eumelia in November 2012 for the olive harvest. We stayed for 2 nights and had a peaceful and genuine experience. We used the traditional method of olive picking by “combing” the ripe fruits from the tree into nets and then we collected them from the ground one by one. In the afternoon we would relax by the fire in the main house drinking some of the exquisite house wine. Food is simple yet tasty and nutritious using seasonal fresh local produce. Thumbs up for the wonderful, traditional breakfast with fresh baked bread, olives, cheese, local farmed eggs and Greek yogurt. On the last day we had also some amazing crepes! Everything in Eumelia is beautiful and genuine as advertised in the website and even better as a real life experience.
