“Fun for herring lovers”

No smoking in progress. So only ate, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice herring etc spread, good beers, and a sunny day on the picnic table. If you like herring and want to taste the local ifs fare, try this.

“Smoke in the morning, fish at lunch”

Very cool place, good for pictures in the early morning when the smoking starts.
Good fresh smoked fish with simple side dish, good beer.... you don't need more for lunch :-)

You can sit outside between the nice buildings, very close to the coast.
Staff is very friendly and speaks multiple languages.

I'll be back...

Two things in Hasle Rogeri - see the demonstration of the smoking of herring, salmon, shrimp etc - usually in the morning around 10 - but call or get that info from tourist info to be sure - depends when you are in Bornholm during the year. After seeing how it is made - then you can EAT - they have quite good 'platters' with different smoked fish/eel/... with potato salad and rye bread... or also fish cakes and shrimp sandwiches. My favourite is mackerel and rye bread. Bon appetit!
