My husband and I visited the hotel in early June for our five year anniversary. From the minute we entered the property, we knew we were going to have an excellent stay. And we did! There was only small misstep. When we checked-in, the hotel asked when we wanted to have a complimentary cake to celebrate our five year anniversary. We asked to have it on Wednesday night (which was our actual anniversary date) and they noted it in our file. We received a call on Tuesday asking if everything was okay and where we were going to dine on that night. We happened to be eating at the hotel's buffet style restaurant, The Lounge, so we told them this. After we were done eating (and completely stuffed from dinner & dessert!) they brought us the anniversary cake without warning. We were a bit confused and told them we asked to have it the next night. They were also confused but took the cake away. They then asked us two more times over the next 10 minute period when we wanted the cake. We told them again that we would like it to be brought to our room the next night, Wednesday, at 8pm, as we originally asked. At 8pm on Wednesday, no cake and nothing was ever said to us. I do not want to complain about this since it is something extra and complimentary the hotel wanted to do for us. It was just a bit strange going through all of that and not getting the cake in the end. Oh well, no big deal. This is an amazing hotel, everything was perfect and top quality. Very clean and up to date facility. The hotel's beach is beautiful and perfect for relaxing and snorkeling. Food was so good too! After this experience, we signed up for the hotel's membership program and looked at visiting their other facilities. Next stop Moofushi Maldives! And we will definitely return to Constance Lemuria as well!

From the start to the end we have experienced an unforgettable 8 days at Constance Lemuria and the lovely island of Praslin. The resort is simply great and there is really nothing to complain about. The golf course looks relatively easy and short but can turn out to be a ball eater too. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times and they are well trained and competent in their profession. Also the food variety and quality was above and beyond. Of course, everything is rather expensive (everything is imported) but we were prepared. We can highly recommend this special place with no regrets.

Stayed at Lemuria for the second time and it just gets better. There have been lots of improvements with the site. There is a new fitness centre, great choice of beaches and restaurants and spa.
I did lots of activities. I went on a great photo safari with Akshay who showed me the best photo sites and was great company.
I also met up again with Robert, the Turtle Manager, who looks after the turtle programme. The whole ethos of the hotel is far more environmentally friendly and responsible. It sets a good example for other hotels to follow but the General Manager Bruno says he intends to more.
Many thanks to Martha at the Nest Restaurant who looked after us so kindly and Exec Sous Chef Patrick Travady who were lovely people.

We went to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
The hotel is as reviewed by others and the beach area a bit small, but the outstanding staff truly make your holiday. There are 30 nationalities working at the hotel and without fail, if you take the time, they all have interesting stories to tell. It would be impossible, and unfair, to name individuals but they came from every sector across the hotel including maître d, wait staff, housekeeping, sous-chefs and chefs…
Boring dietary requirements (no gluten/dairy/soy and BTW I don’t really like fish) made it a bumpy first few days but you cannot fault the enthusiasm & willingness of the staff to try and accommodate these requests.
We ate at DIVA 4 nights in a row & the chef and staff there were quite exceptional. The food was creative, interesting and tasted better than anywhere else. We loved it. On departure they gifted me a huge box of gluten free goodies - the vegan chocolate was probably the best I have ever had!
The primary reason for choosing CL was the golf. It was spectacular and despite five days of rain (playing in waterproofs), the course remained in good shape. The front 9 was more challenging - but don’t be put off if you have a high handicap you can still very much enjoy this course - even the 15th which is amazing. It wasn’t busy at all and we generally played 9 holes, then had lunch, then played another 9. Based on other reviews we came well prepared with an extra 100 balls and probably lost about 50 of them!

We were in Constance Lemuria for 1 week and it was everything fantastic. We were at room n 66 and we had a big issue but the efficient and good customer service resolved the problem . Special thanks to Sofia she was looked after us and we appreciated that the general manager (Bruno) come personally to meet us and make sure everything was sorted on the best way.
