My husband and I visited the hotel in early June for our five year anniversary. From the minute we entered the property, we knew we were going to have an excellent stay. And we did! There was only small misstep. When we checked-in, the hotel asked when we wanted to have a complimentary cake to celebrate our five year anniversary. We asked to have it on Wednesday night (which was our actual anniversary date) and they noted it in our file. We received a call on Tuesday asking if everything was okay and where we were going to dine on that night. We happened to be eating at the hotel's buffet style restaurant, The Lounge, so we told them this. After we were done eating (and completely stuffed from dinner & dessert!) they brought us the anniversary cake without warning. We were a bit confused and told them we asked to have it the next night. They were also confused but took the cake away. They then asked us two more times over the next 10 minute period when we wanted the cake. We told them again that we would like it to be brought to our room the next night, Wednesday, at 8pm, as we originally asked. At 8pm on Wednesday, no cake and nothing was ever said to us. I do not want to complain about this since it is something extra and complimentary the hotel wanted to do for us. It was just a bit strange going through all of that and not getting the cake in the end. Oh well, no big deal. This is an amazing hotel, everything was perfect and top quality. Very clean and up to date facility. The hotel's beach is beautiful and perfect for relaxing and snorkeling. Food was so good too! After this experience, we signed up for the hotel's membership program and looked at visiting their other facilities. Next stop Moofushi Maldives! And we will definitely return to Constance Lemuria as well!
