Having just spent 11 nights at the Lemuria I can confirm this is a genuinely 5 star LUXURY hotel. From our personal greeting by the Villa Manager (Hendrik) at the hotel helipad - to the delivered breakfast early morning for our return flight, the Lemuria was absolutely first class. Our two bedroom villa (one of 8) was huge and gorgeous with our own beachfront and pool. The rooms were large and exceptionally well equipped and were immaculately clean at all times.

The resort is reasonably compact but even so the buggies and bikes were welcome. The grounds are very well kept with lots of staff and it was lovely to see how the hotel is eco-friendly including its attitude to the giant tortoises Donatello and Raphaella and their local Turtle programme - Robert the Eco (Turtle) Manager was so committed to the animals and the site - it was fantastic to see! The golf course was so, so tough but included some stunning scenery while the beaches were beautiful. However the conditions at times meant that the sea was a bit rough and indeed could be difficult or at times dangerous to swim or snorkel, even on Anse Georgette, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles.

The food and restaurants were excellent and varied. From the Legend for breakfasts and evening buffets, to the Nest for more formal food or the upmarket Diva, all were lovely - oh and the beach barbecues too! The food was excellent, the variety good and the willingness to deal with gluten free options was fantastic.

What sets the Lemuria aside though is the staff and the service - it is absolutely sublime. Bruno the General Manager and Hendrik the Villa Manager have put together a fantastic team who are absolutely committed to ensuring all guests are absolutely pampered - and we have stayed in many 5 star restaurants around the world. Particular thanks to Hendrik who spoiled us rotten, Uttam our Villa Master who personally looked after us so well that the only thing we had to think about was what to choose on the menus (!) and Sofia - it was a genuine privilege to meet you all and thank you from the whole family for the best service we've ever had. Thanks also to all the staff in the restaurants and the rest of the team!

This is our second stay at a Constance resort after the Prince Maurice in Mauritius. They are both highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

Having met Marianna Dupres the HR Manager at the Constance Lemuria my husband and I were invited to the hotel to see the grounds, go to the wonderful beach and then have lunch whilst staying at another hotel in Praslin. We went for the day, spent a few hours on the fabulous beach followed by the most fabulous sushi lunch at the restaurant on the beach. The grounds of this hotel are lovely; especially the golf course which would be a reason for our return to Praslin and staying at Constance Lemuria would then be a must. Thank you so much Marianna for such warm hospitality and wonderful lunch with you; it was such a pleasure to meet you. The staff in the restaurant were so friendly, professional and happy, the service was fabulous and the food excellent. As we didn't stay I can't comment on any other aspect of the hotel but I am sure looking around the grounds it would be somewhere we would definitely stay if we returned to the Seychelles.
