This place really surprised us! Here we had the best grilled red snapper on our entire stay at the Seychelles. The chef let us choose the fish ourselves and it was amazingly cooked with just the right herbes and spices. The creole sauce was amazing to. I really recommend this restaurant to everybody!

Dear Linn A
Many Thanks for your short sweet comments and review about Surfers Beach Restaurant. It gives us the owners and a staff a great feeling of accomplishment. Our grilled red snapper is a favourite amongst our clientele and one of our specialities, but would definitely not be the same without the fresh Seychelles creole sauce. We also do this dish with coconut sauce and it’s a matter of preference really but personal I prefer the creole sauce like so many other of our patrons.
We hope if you do come back to Seychelles that you will visit us again for other mouth-watering selections.

One year later, repeat visit to check out the food at this fantastic location.
Was not disappointed. Great juices from freshly pressed local fruits, variety of botted beers. Menu items on offer rather large. Octopus curry was a great choice, so too the mutton curry looked delicious.
Just to help with the digestion, an infusion of local citronelle....

Did I mention the location? For that alone a burger and a beer or fresh juice would suffice! Unbeatable.

Pity the weather was not totally up to scratch but apparently mid-year is the SouthEast monsoon.

It was our pleasure to see you back in Seychelles after 1 year. We are happy you remembered us and came back for some more great food and an enjoyable day out. Obviously you miss the place and the Seychellois cuisine. We are sure we will see you again next year for some more of our hospitality and now that you have obviously eaten Seychelles Breadfruit the saying goes that once you consume this you will be returning to paradise again.
Until Next time our very best wishes.

Surfers Management Team & Staff.

I have been intending to visit this little corner of paradise for the past several weeks and am glad that I finally made it there.
Though there are some pricey items on the menu, the pizzas are reasonably-priced, and the fresh drinks are tastey. I met one of the owners, and she mentioned that she recently hired some new staff in order for her to be open 7 days a week.
You can eat on the elevated deck or go down below to the picnic tables, but either way, the ocean is still singing to you as the waves of time gently crush the reef and the shores.
For ambience alone, it is worth your time :-). Enjoy.

Dear JemJakorman
We are glad you eventually got to this part of the island which is still unspoilt and tranquil. We are equally happy that you enjoyed your time and experience at Surfers Beach Restaurant. Our views from the wooden decking of the ocean while watching the breaking waves on the shore line are the envy of a lot of our competitors and the setting is hard to beat by any standards. As rightly mentioned in your review we are now open 7 days a week and have 2 full time resident chefs from India who live on site. Once again thank you for nice comments and review and if you are ever this side of the island again please do come back for some more of our hospitality.
