We actually visited the place in feb. 2016 but i wasn't able to put that date in trip advisor. The owner and his wife were great! Our booking was actually messed up by the agent so the first night we stayed at the neighbour. We were a bit disappointed the first night which was not the owner's fault but they still made it all up with service and professionalism. They spend the time to show us all the great locations as we came a bit unprepared and last minute. They organised a rental for us immediately. Our chalet was also amazing. Everything was clean and what your would expect from the images online and cost you pay. Staff was always there but never distracting or in any way in your face. I really hope they keep up the service. I'm sure they do because the place is always booked as we tried to get a booking twice afterwards but had no luck :)

The appartments in the villa are very nice. We would recommand to book one in the second floor. From there you're having a nice view. But also the garden appartment are quite nice. They also have a very big veranda.
The kitchen has all equipment you need. Some general stuff for cooking would be helpful (salt, pepper and oil).
If you order breakfast you have to pay 12EUR per person and day. Some supermarkets are very close. They are reachable by walk. There you can buy everything for breakfast.
The villas are located along the beach but the beach is not that nice. You can use the bus for exploring the island. Qe would recommand to rent a car. You need 15min to Anse Albert. By car you can stop if you want. You're more flexible.

It was a good, simple homebase. They kept forgetting to put toilet paper in our room. There was no fan in the bedroom, which would have been great if you don't want to sleep with the A/C on. Otherwise Paul was very friendly and helpful! The kitchen was good, although I felt like a midget with the cupboards being up so high, LOL!

Room Tip: Try for beachfront

Dear Nicol,
Thank you for posting your review and for your suggestion about the fans. Since we have AC in the rooms, we have never had a request for an additional fan but your point is valid and we will certainly keep one in the reception should this ever come up again.
As for the toilet paper, it is our standard practice to always leave a spare roll in behind the bathroom mirror, I will follow up with our housekeeping team to ensure that this is being maintained.
Many thanks,
Paul

The name got it right: this place is a jewel right by the ocean. Most of the time we felt like it was just us and the ocean... nobody in sight and wonderful water. We had some amazing sunrise and sunset paddleboarding sessions.
The owners make you feel welcome as soon as you pass the gate. The place is small which adds to the homey feel. Exactly what we were going for.
The detractors are the noise from the road when you get a garden view villa (the patio is facing the road and it can get quite noisy over dinner time if you want to eat in), the paying wifi that doesn't work very often, and we were devoured by the mosquitoes even though we've been on the island for a short week before that. We therefore spent all our time by the beach and having dinner out. And it worked out great. We loved our stay at Ocean Jewels.

me and my family had an awesome five days holiday in one of the two beach front villas. The villa is large enough for a family with a separate kitchen, guest toilet, dining room and a living room with patio that faces the beach on the ground floor and two bedrooms with separate toilets and balconies on the first floor . What else? The add-ons was the Paul & Brenda, the owners of this four villas structure that were very helpful, attentive and nice with us. They always had time for us and for any of our query. Their suggestions and advice were valid and very detailed and we loved spend part of the day staying at the beach hanging around without hassles .... Front beach is large enough to enjoy but lose part of its beauty because of the grass and very low tides
