“Very friendly owner and very clean”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

Adrian and his parents have been very friendly and the room was very clean and nice. We specially liked the terrace where we had breakfast. We liked the hospitality the whole family gave us. Everything was good organized and we liked the transport service to the dinner restaurant Adrian gave us. We really can recommend to stay at Villa Cocotier on Praslin. The beautiful beach is not far away and the airport which is really close didn't disturb us at all.

We stayed two nights at the Villa Cocotier and we're made to feel so very welcome by the whole family. The rooms are exceptionally clean, with good air conditioning. The location is very near to the air strip so there is slight noise from that, but not really anything to put you off staying.

The Lemuria golf course is only 5 or so minutes away so if you are a golfer it is very handy.

You would need a car to see the best of Praslin.

The excellent breakfast sets you up well to go sight seeing on this beautiful island.

The Villa is nice and clean, comfortable, location is ok, a car is recommended but what is the highlight of this place are the hosts! Amazing honest, friendly, helpful, sincere, gentile..all the positive attributes which exist-- are for them! We were not sorry to give them every euro/dollar because they deserve and they are hard working family. I hope they will get all the permits and funds to make a self catering kitchen, then this place would be fantastic--will be ideal for families with small kids as well! From all the places in Seychelles (we visited all 3 islands) this was definately s special one and they will always stay in our memories and fantastic people we met.

Definitely a family run guest house, which makes people feel at home.

I have met all members of the family on my first day. Very kind of them! Mr Emmanuel and Adrian will do all they can in order to provide anything one needs. All the information we needed about beaches, restaurants, bike and car rentals, bus timetable, La Digue ferry timetable and fares (Adrian got us a good discount, by the way), permission to visit Anse Georgette (within Constance Lemuria Resort), better places for shopping and so we got from them! Adrian took us, free of charge, to many places. He's very helpful, indeed!

The guest house is new and very well managed. Nice room, adequate and clean bathroom, good breakfast (toast, jam, coffee, tea, butter, milk and fruits - I commented to Adrian that I liked starfruit - after that, for some days, we had also starfruit for breakfast - details that really count when a person is at a hotel or guest house).

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Two single hints: more TV channels and umbrellas. Hey, Adrian, you took us to all places we needed when it was raining (thank you!), but even for not bothering you, umbrellas would be welcome. In the future, as you yourself said, internet would be very appreciated as well, but these are only hints, not complaints.

I do recommend Villa Cocotier for a good stay on beautiful Praslin.

Mr. Adrian and Mr. Emmanuel are very helpful for everything what you want or need when hosted in Prislin such as ferryboat schedule to La Digue, restaurant indication (high quality + good cost), bus schedule, bike or car rental, etc. The facilities are pretty new, well conserved and organized, the goods such as bed, minibar, toilet are new and high quality. The room is cleaned and reorganized every day after the breakfast and talking about it, we had over standard guest house breakfast with enough coffee, tea, bread, jam, margarine, fruits, etc. This is a recommended guest house.
Just a suggestion of improvement, should have more option of TV channel and umbrellas available in case of rain. It´s a suggestion of improvement because on days of rain Mr. Adrian offered ride for every place that we want.

Villa Coco Tier is a lovely guest house, which is a little off from other guest houses. This of course was not in any way an issue because the man who manages the guest house, Adrian, makes sure to provide perfect service. When we had first gotten there, Adrain offered to personally drive us to where ever we wanted to go. Pick up take-away food (he would wait for us), go to a restaurant (he dropped us off and picked us up), or take us shopping. We later decided to rent a car, but the service is there if you want it.

Adrian does most on the property, but I also met his parents, Mary and Emanuelle - who are just the sweetest, most caring, service-minded people. I also was fortunate to meet Adrian's wife who manages the bookings, and his little sister Thalia. Villa Coco Tier is definitely a family place and it was a wonderful opportunity for my boyfriend and I to ask a billion questions about the Seychelles, local people, places, customs, and recommendations. I almost feel bad for those staying in the closed off resorts - it feels like they never experience the real Seychelles.

The recommendations I got from Adrian never felt like a rip off or something "touristy". He always gave information that was in our best interest. The whole family is genuine. It's hard to describe, but they've real understood the essence of being successful business owners, which is why I am writing this review.

The rooms were cleaned to perfection, which is something that is immensely important to me. I saw that they cared. The bathroom was also cleaned to perfection.

Breakfast consisted of toast, lovely fresh fruits, tea/coffee - and is served on your veranda, which is great. We said a time when we wanted to eat breakfast and then they fixed it. When we wanted to rent a car, Adrian fixed it for us immediately. The car was delivered to us, and then we left it at the Jetty when we were done, because we were catching the boat. Everything was so convenient and service minded.

The guest house is a 2-3 min walk to a beautiful beach. The only thing is that there isn't a lot trees that give shade so bring a sun hat.

It was a great stay. When we left we were wrapped up in saying goodbye that we forgot to call/email the next place we were going to on another island. Adrian had remembered where we were going and called ahead to the other island guest house, told them we were coming on the next boat, and made sure someone met us at the jetty and helped us with our bags. That is service. We were so happily surprised and we, of course, miss them. I hope other experience what we did. All the best to the family. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Me and my wife stayed for 4 nights at Villa Cocotier. After 5 minutes, we realized that we have taken the best decision to stay at this guesthouse. We have met the entire familly: Adrian, Thalia and their parents. Adrian is the boss in charge and he is very helpful. He recommended us where to eat and where to spend the evenings. He helped us to rent a car and he talked to Lemuria Hotel for permission to visit Anse Georgette. We highly recommend Villa Cocotier and we think that services should be like this everywhere!
