We fell in love with Provence after the first time! We have never been anywhere else in France, and don`t need to. We are afraid to get disappointed. A lovely house and area, surrounded by wineyards and great areas for walking and cycling (bikes in the house). A short drive to a lot of nice small towns to visit. If you want to og bigger you can either drive og og by train to either Nice or one of the other towns by the sea. St. Tropez is only an hour away and a must see if you haven`t been there before. A perfect day trip. We were a larger group and sent the women by train to Nice on a shopping expedition. The men stayed home working hard in the garden. A win win situation:-) Last but not least for a pizza-geek like me: A wood-fired pizza oven on the terrace! See you in Provence:-)

We keep coming back to this piece of heaven almost every spring. I'm told that other people come down to play at the local golf course, but our favorite activities have always been the quiet walks along the vineyards and on the nearby hiking trail. Also: The wood fired pizza oven on the piazza has been the centerpiece of many a legendary family pizza party. The kids love the pool, of course, and the parents love the quiet neighborhood. The layout of the bedrooms, as well as the house in general, makes it perfect when up to three families want to go on a vacation together.
Last time we visited, a friend of the owner showed us an underground chapel from the year 300 A.D. Truly spectacular.
In other words, go for it. The best family vacation spot in Europe, only an hour from Nice Airport.
I first visited this house 4 years ago, and immediately fell in love. Not only with the beautiful house and the large property, but the lifestyle, the pace, the nature, the food, the climate, the people, the charming villages, and the numerous vineyards surrounding the property.
The photos speaks for it self, but the house and the property is perfect for large families, and can house up to 13+
A beautiful, well maintained house with all the facilities you need and more.
Worth mentioning is the outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven. A perfect 'get together' for the whole family.
Things to do if you are tired of just relaxing by the pool:
Visit all the surrounding villages. Yes, each and everyone are unique an has it’s charm.
St. Tropez, Port Grimaud, Lourges, Grimaud, Cogolin ++++
Visit one of the many Château’s’.
If you fancy gourmet food, Bruno is an absolute must. Restaurant Bruno is located in Lourges, approx. 10 min by car from the property.
The owners of the house knows the area, what to do, and was more than happy to tell us everything we needed for a fantastic holiday.
Writing this review sure wake up all the good memories again, and are looking forward to visit soon, and at least once a year in the years to come.
