“Rustic and peaceful, just what we needed!”
Reviewed 1 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Booked through holidaylettings.co.uk. Just spent a week with partner and friends in this lovely rustic, spacious and peaceful location. The location allowed for a relaxed atmosphere which was suitable for two young children and the adults. The cottage had more than enough amenities to allow 3 couples with young children to move freely and not feel that everyone was under each other's feet.
The location is close to lovely sandy beaches that stretch for miles with plenty of scope for water sports, beautiful wooded areas great for exploring and taking cycling rides. La Rochelle is a 30 minute drive and well worth a visit for shopping and to explore the scenic port.
Only downside that due to the peaceful, remote location, the number of eateries/bars in walking distance is minimal so a car is a necessity.
On the whole a very enjoyable stay and very well recommended.
