this is really a lovely resort and value for money was great! about $200 for family room... but there where stuff that bothered me. for example no electricity (AC) from 07h00 which makes it impossible to sleep... and then the breakfast was really bad! one just expects these things when paying so much for accommodation!

the resort is beautiful though!

Room Tip: sea view rooms are worth the extra money

We very much enjoyed our three day visit to Sunny Paradise resort. The beach was very much deserted as it was a quiet period. The staff were very good in meeting all our requirements.Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was both burmese and western.the local village had some excellent cheap sea food dishes.A five journey by car from Yangon made it a long journey to paradise but you do get to see the country side so treat the journey as part of the holiday.Price per night for a sea view room was a bit expensive at US$150 a night.Other than this point a lovely unspoilt resort far from the maddening crowd. Will visit again.

Spent two nights here: there is a large variety of room types, styles and architecture - including bungalows and two-storied accommodation blocks: I stayed in an older all-wood room in one of the blocks, which was clean and comfortable, though somewhat dark. The beach was pleasant and a bit quieter than the hotels south of the town. Food was average, and staff were friendly and polite. The 'two for one' Happy Hour was a bit of a con: a single (weak) drink was instead served in two smaller glasses. Overall, a pleasant place to stay.

The large facility had equally large, spacious rooms with triple beds in them and a good-size bathroom. A/C did not work at first but prompt, helpful staff quickly replaced the entire unit. Right on the beach and Bay of Bengal with beautiful expansive, sandy beach and warm, pleasant surf that did not have a strong undertow nor dropoff. Wifi not available in the rooms but did work okay in the Reception area and dining area upstairs from that. Grounds were very well kept and pleasant with a nice pool, happy hour bar for the fantastic sundowns, and a good restaurant with tables both inside and outside by the pool. Beach chairs at one end of the pool looked peacefully out onto the surf and beach action. Limited time for hot water for showers, etc. was very limited from about 5-8 am mornings and 4-6 pm evenings. TV okay. Village with two or three very good, inexpensive local restaurants (and souvenir stands of course) was only a 10-15 min. walk outside the resort compound. Spent three days there that was very restful after busy trip itinerary.

My partner and I have just spent 3 nights at this hotel. It is situated on a beautiful sandy unspoilt beach.
This is a lovely resort for both families and couples.
The nearby village is quiet.
Although we did not have see view rooms, our room was very well appointed. The staff kept the place immaculate, the food was also very good.
