After recent previous experiences, booking in here was a breeze. Staff were only too happy to show us a room and to explain things carefully and raise the bar a bit higher than other establishments. The room was spacious and well appointed, the thing we noticed missing was a small fridge but the sleep quality was good and the bathroom adequate for everyone.

The breakfast was well worth the cost of around 11 euro for a great deal more than we'd had offered and was fresh and plentiful. Kids under 10 eat free as well. Their dinner menu was a little more of a chore to find something to taste but was nevertheless easier than driving around on the wrong side of he road to find something and not hugely expensive either, mains around 12 - 15 euro.

The only thing guys - some real coffee cups please, instead of the paper ones would be a nicer touch..

We stayed for 2 nights, paid 120 euro for the first and 100 euro the second night, better value than a budget 65 euro job and a more refreshing sleep with sheets and towels changed daily.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a fridge..

Nice basic room that served us well for the one night we stayed. Bar was okay but not enough large glasses meant some confusing conversations and waiting around while they cleaned glasses between serving. Having ordered two large beers, I ended up with five somehow! Be clear or it will cost!

Nice food and well served, without any delay which we had experienced elsewhere.

There are several issues with the hotel. Which seem to include very BAD MANAGEMENT, poor staffing levels and an inability to resolve problems, or even to order the correct amount of basic breakfast perishables, in fact, run a HOTEL!
1. It was impossible to shave after a shower as there are no extractors in the bathroom!
2. No AC.
3. Waited 20 minutes at the Bar after a days rallying (with 24 cars) for a beer even after informing front desk there were no staff in attendance (they rang the empty bar).
4. Bar costs were exorbitant.

These were not the only area that was a disappointment. The food was disappointing to say the least, cold inedible congealed food at our meal on the last night (thankfully the Buffalo grill is a 5 minute walk down the road and highly recommended for chain food!). You would be very much mistaken if you thought that this is all they could ruin, it is not, as both breakfasts were a shambles (Medieval english for slaughter House). Yes, both Sunday and Monday were a disaster, with different items of food running out, also quite concerning was the state of the little sausages, on Monday day, as they were not cooked and had opaque skins, not browned as the day before. Also there were no scrambled eggs first thing on Monday. I was informed there would be none as they had run out, but they did turn up at the end of my sitting too late! and all finished off with cold coffee.

The only good thing about breakfast was the loose tea collection, teapots and lemon slices available, which was a welcome to my partner. The only issue was the teapots were not replenished to allow following sittings to enjoy.

I would not stay here again and advise any other traveler to give it a wide berth Probably the worst hotel I have stayed at PANTS!!!

Room Tip: Don't bother here go somewhere else!!

Taking part in the 2014 Amiens Classic Tour this was our base for 2 nights. Breakfast on Saturday morning was like the proverbial bun fight, there weren't enough tables and those that were free hadn't been cleared. There was no crockery and the staff were surly. The presentation night meal to some 50+ of us was appalling! We were served a chicken leg and a pile of congealed rice! I refused this and eventually was served a dish from the a la carte menu. We were then served what was supposed to be creme brulee, it had lumps of something in it and was inedible. The rooms don't have air conditioning and coupled with the hard mattress made for an uncomfortable night. The bathroom has no extractor so everything steams up and gets damp. Supposed to be star, what a dump!
