It's been quite some time since we lunched at the Greyhound, the previous owners having left a while ago.
A very warm welcome from the landlord and we were soon settled in a pleasant dining area, menus in hand. We both chose the fish and chips, which proved to be cooked to perfection, delicioust
The Greyhound is tucked away a little off the main road, but use your SAT nav,and you will have a lovely meal in a beautiful location.

After a really warm welcome by the landlord,we were shown to our table, and made very comfortable with menus by a pleasant cheerful young lady,
We chose the fish and chips with a request for half portions of chips for both of us. The meal was delicious the fish perfectly cooked. ,I think we shall make a weekly visit. To the Greyhound whenever we can. It may be a little off the beaten track, but make the effort, use your
Sat nav,and find this little jewel in the Suffo countryside.

Husband and I were spending a week in Suffolk and visited the Greyhound for Sunday lunch and we were so glad we did. We had beautifully cooked roast pork with apple sauce and very edible pieces of crackling served with roasted new potatoes, parsnip and carrots plus lovely green cabbage and leeks. Apple crumble and custard followed which was obviously home made and delicious . Service was excellent even though they were quite busy serving meals to customers sitting outside as well as in the restaurant. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

4 people all having different entrees, mains and deserts. The dishes were excellent and far better than we expected from pub fare.

supporting good food was a selection of local ales and a whiskey on special each day (yes the publican knows his Scotch).

We always enjoying finding a new good restaurant.

A family evening get together was a complete success! Food, wine, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Four of our fellow diners had not been since Stewart & Louise took over and all were highly impressed - and they have eaten in several Michelin starred venues!

Two days later we were back, this time for the Mexican themed food night, how Louise keeps coming up with such a variety of well cooked and interesting food at such reasonable prices time after time is nothing short of truly amazing.

Our thanks to all the staff at The Greyhound
