Stayed for seven nights and just loved this place.

The room was well furnished and very spacious with all the facilities you need. The bathroom had a great shower and everything was clean.

The outside space was beautiful and had plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the peace.
Previous reviewers were very accurate about the breakfasts and were the simply the best.

Bernard, the owner is the perfect host and the minute we arrived we knew it was the place to be.

We had great weather and enjoyed all the cycling rides around the area including Mont Ventoux and Malaucene provided a great restaurant for the evening meals.

Thanks Bernard for providing such a wonderful place to stay, we shall definately return and we have fantastic memories.

Room Tip: Go for the suite, its really large.

I have been on cycling holidays in Europe for many years, usually staying in two star hotels. Last year I woke up to the advantages of Chambre d'Hotes so for this year's excursion we stayed for three nights at the Mas de Longuefeuille in Malaucene. Instead of one cramped room in a hotel we had a spacious bedroom (ensuite of course), large sitting area and the use of a terrace and swimming pool surrounded by rolling countryside.

Others have already commented on Bernard's breakfasts which are little works of art. Bernard was a most gracious host, checking that all the guests were happy in both French and English.

Like most cyclists we were drawn by Mt Ventoux, but there is so much more. Try the Gorges de la Nesque from Sault to Villes-sur-Auzon, you won't be disappointed with that or the Mas de Longuefeuille.

What a great place to stay this was. We had 3 nights stay in May to combine cycling up Ventoux with doing some sight-seeing around Provence too and can highly recommend Mas de Longuefeuille. It's a wonderful property with real character, very tastefully decorated bedrooms and fantastic gardens / terrace / pool area too. Bernard's hospitality is excellent, very friendly with useful route maps and advice on the area. The setting is lovely and quiet so really feels like you are in the middle of Provence.

And yes just to echo what everybody else says, the Breakfasts really are a work-of-art, truly splendid, we just felt guilty leaving some of it as there was so much food, but Wow it tasted great!

(Tip for cyclists, there is a lock-up area for your bike but take an additional lock too as it isn't completely enclosed).

Room Tip: Juliet Suite is very spacious indeed, bags of space if you have loads of luggage.

From the moment you drive through the gate of Mas de Longuefeuille, you feel as if you have entered paradise. Bernard is a true gentlemen when it comes to hospitality. The breakfast is out of this world...( prepared by his beautiful wife Henriette.) it's food art with amazing taste, just the thing to get you started for your day of sightseeing in this beautiful part of France. I stayed here with my Husband and Son while in France for two weeks...there was plenty of room in our beautifully decorated room. Once again thank you to Bernard and Henriette for you kind hospitality, we will never forget it.

We stayed only one night at Mas de Longuefeuille in mid-March. The property is absolutely beautiful and its renovation was done impeccably! Our room was tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed. Bernard was the consummate host and his English is very good. We did not meet Henriette but her artwork was evident throughout the house and on the terrace--it was lovely. Our breakfast was beautiful to behold and tasted very good as well. It included a variety of small servings that were delightful. We would definitely return to Mas de Longuefeuille and would recommend it highly! We only hope that we will be able to return someday.

We (my husband and I and our 5 year old son) stayed at Mas de Longuefeuille in the Julie suite in early June for 3 nights. We loved every minute of our stay. The location is perfect for exploring the area, including the many wineries. It is also a great base for cycling up Mont Ventoux, which my husband did while we stayed there. Bernard and Henriette have created a little piece of heaven just outside the little town of Malaucene. Bernard was a fantastic host, the breakfasts were outstanding. Thank you Bernard for your hospitality, we had a great time and we hope that we get back to visit one day. We are recommending you to all of our friends!!

Bernard and Henriette have created a wonderful bed and breakfast. The entire property is gorgeous and everything amenity has been thoughtfully considered. The room, the grounds, the pool and especially the breakfast are all excellent. Bernard is a consummate host and the meals Henriette prepared were excellent. We stayed in 18 different accommodations while on our bike tour through France and Mas de Longuefeuille was the best accommodation we experienced. Excellent!
