The hotel in Misahualli has clean rooms, private bathrooms and ours had a small balcony, together with a very nice staff made our stay at this hotel very enjoyable. The breakfast was no big surprise but still good and the dinner they served was also very tasty.
However, the reason why you stay here is probably to head into the jungle and the lodge that this hotel run is a very nice one indeed! No extra luxury just simple rooms equiped with mosquito nets and hamacs! The food is quite ordinary but tasty.
However the tours are more than ordinary! The indigenous guides are excellent and they tell you about the different plants used by the indians even today to cure diseases or kill prey. You maybe don't get the real wilderness feeling and the chances of seeing animals are quite slim, but the tours in the jungle together with a visit to an indigenous family made this trip a great success which I can heartly recommend!More
