This place has remained the same since I was a wee girl (apart from the paddling pool). On a sunny day its a lovely location and nice to sit with a bag of chips and watch the waves and the boats moving around.

“Marian and Ray”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2013

The harbour was very busy when we where there and obviously very popular with locals, plus there was a bi annual event taking place where people were sailing over to Scotland a 40 minute journey . This event is sponsored by Pier 36 and the 'sailors' return from their trip to Scotland to a BBQ at Pier 36 I would imagine that particular night it may be difficult to get to bed early if you were staying at the guesthouse.

“Nice coastal town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2013

My wife and I like to stay in small coastal towns, and D'Dee did not disappoint. If they could just find a way to keep the seagulls quiet in the early morning it would be perfect, but there are some things you just can't control.
