“Great spot to relax!”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

We went here on a quite morning and enjoyed the great view and crystal clear water! There are chears available and you can come to rest in between activities. Don't expect anything spectacular but it's a nice piece of nature!

“Nice but ..”
Reviewed 5 June 2014 via mobile

We were lucky to go while it wasn't too busy so we got some chairs. The water was very clear but it is not a real beach and more of a private dock kind of.

You have to pay for the parking (1€/h) and then the entrance fee (3€/p).

It was nice but I would have spent more time at the beaches at the reserve.

“Nothing really to see for 6 euros”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

We paid the indifferent staff member 6 euros for two tickets, and when we followed the path to see the old tonnara, we couldn't find it. We asked a guard and he began walking toward the door to a building but then changed his mind and gestured off to the distance. Not wanting to waste the cost of admission, we asked again and produced the tickets, at which time he asked someone to let us in. We were told it was now converted into a hotel.

The view of the cove is good if you want to lie on a chair in a small space or take a swim with fifty other people, but from what I have been reading online, I expected it would be a beautiful, semi-private ruin, not a worn out building with a minimum of aesthetic value and not much of it at that. Though six euros is not much, the site was still less than expected for a ticket labeled "monumental site." Parking is "dopo la curva" (after the curve in the road) and is labeled as parking for a campsite. 1 euro per hour.

“Busy and difficult to park”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

The highlight of this visit was the crystal clear water and being able to see up close the amazing rocks covered in vegetation. Most extraordinary.

It was quite busy with locals sunning themselves. Otherwise there isn't really anything else to do.

When you see the sign to turn right to the Tonnaro be aware that you can not park there. There is a significant amount of road that says no parking.

You can park further along the road in either direction. Nearby there is a campsite carpark that lots of people seem to be making use of.

“Goosebumps that will last a lifetime”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

From the beauty of the earth, to the centuries past, you feel the remarkable presence of culture that remains here. It transports your mind and your soul back to a time where beautiful things were to be admired. This spiritual place was very hard to leave- I could have sat there in the midst of the yellow flowers staring at that beauty forever. Yet, my ride was leaving, so I departed, but I feel like a part of me will always reside in Scopello.
