Attending family wedding nearby. Organised activities meant we were not actually at hotel beyond b+b. Both Bed and breakfast can be recommended, comfy bed and excellent shower. Nice to have real coffee and not instant in the room. No quibbles.

I have often passed this pub but never tried it until today. What a lovely surprise. Light and airy, wonderful customer service and good choice of menu. The dining room is of good size , well laid out and the service was excellent. Great banter with the landlord who makes you feel most welcome. The menu is adequate with a specials board. I had the chicken curry which was quite delicious followed by Lime and Apricot Tart, cooked to perfection. I certainly will give back with my husband. Well worth a visit.

Service at this pub is very well organised.

Our party of 20 went today for lunch.  For each table, the food order was taken and was brought to the table in the order of ordering   At the end of the meal, everyone was given their own bill which made the whole payment much easier.  The food was very good and the staff were friendly.

Thoroughly recommend.

I have been a number of times and had lunch here recently as part of a large party. It is always spot on. Lovely people offering wonderful food from a varied menu with some excellent puds to follow. Friendly helpful service. Never fails to impress.

Fantastic period pub, lovely B&B rooms separate from the main building. Plenty of parking right outside. Reasonable pricing. The staff are great, fun family atmosphere, made us all feel really welcome. Sunny beer garden. We were informed that the breakfast was good and it certainly didn't disappoint! Looking forward to the jacket potatoes when we next visit.
