Booked this inn just the evening before and was very pleased with our choice when we arrived. Nicely furnished room, nice staff, and pleasant area in which to stay. Very well prepared breakfast in the restaurant. Only problem was that the Wi-Fi did not reach to our room, so had to go to the pub for internet access.

We booked the Flying Bull as we were attending a party nearby. We both found it to be very pleasant and the staff were very welcoming.

Nice sized room with a good view across fields. Would definitely recommend to others wishng to stay in the area.

My wife and I stayed here on a recent trip to Hampshire and had an excellent time.
The landlord (Jason) and his wife (Susannah) were very accommodating and informative and gave us great tips about where to drink and dine in nearby Petersfield around a 15 minute cab ride away.
The room we stayed in at The Flying Bull was very clean and well done out with a nice scenic view.
The beers were well kept and the bar had a few locals in who were also most obliging and friendly (Peter the plumber and his wife arranged for our evening taxi's and lunch reservation for the next day at The Mulberry in nearby Chiddingfold - a charming English village).
On the morning of departure we had a lovely breakfast with great coffee and spent a very pleasant hour or so chatting to other guests.
A couple of curiosities are that the bar straddles both Sussex and Hampshire so you and your companion can share a drink whilst standing in different counties and also it is the only "Flying Bull" in the country!
I can't finish a review without mentioning Susannah's Border Terrier pup Pepper who was an absolute delight!
Without doubt The Flying Bull will receive our custom again.

Room Tip: The "Hampshire" was first rate.
