I've lived locally for over 40 years and have never visited this pub until Sunday. We had a party of 5 and had the lunch menu. The pub was very busy as it was a nice day but we were served quickly and did not have to wait long for our food. It was well cooked and tasty. The puddings were divine.
It has a lovely garden and play area for children and caters for family meals and judging by the number of families in the pub it's obviously a very popular place. Booking may be advisable.
I would certainly re-visit the pub for special occasion or even for a leisurely bite to eat.
