After years of living on the island I recently found a wonderful French restaurant hidden in Santa Gertrudis. Chez Paul's simple local decoration mixed with French decor gives it a unique feel and ambiance. I went on a date but the restaurant if fitting for all, it was a little cold that day but I look forward to going back when the weather permits to enjoy the large outdoor terrace and garden tables. The food was delish! A mix of Mediterranean food with a heavy French influence. The chef Paul personally recommended and I enjoyed salmon crepes as a starter then a confit of succulent duck. To top it off we shared a tiramisu worthy of a fine Italian restaurant. The wine list was generous and has a varied selection of Bordeaux!
I strongly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!
