“restaurant offering local produce from own farm”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2014

This restaurant is in the first place a grill using first class meats from their own farm, but its menu also has a large choice of regional dishes using local produce (most of them from Campanatge, their own company making local specialities like sobrasada or cheeses, even yoghurt- from goat or sheep milk). We had a nice sofrit pages, and also the lamb chops were good. Try their embutidos as a starter. The restaurant walls are covered with old pictures of Ibiza : definitely worth looking at.

“love this place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 October 2013

This is a must while in the island, the restaurant is located few minutes drive from Ibiza town, it has been serving grilled meats and typical Spanish and island food but also fish and other kinds of food. You have to try their homemade products especially their yogurt, save some space in your stomach for the delicious desserts!

“Great steak”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2013 via mobile

Stopped here for lunch on main Road to Santa G, great steak. Cooked on our very own BBQ table side , really good quality meat. Also got some amazing old photos of Ibiza in the old days hanging throughout the building.
Will be back for sure.

“Great grill restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 May 2013

Went out to Santa Gertrudis to find all places packed for lunch with a decent menu. Drove out to Can Caus and could smell the grill the on approach so had to call in. Best choice made. Its away from the really tourist destinations and full of locals.

You enter into a large dining area which they call outdoors yet its covered over but 2 of the largest sides a glass so you can look out to the countryside. The inside area is smaller with white washed pebble dashed walls and is cosy in the evenings and sets a romantic atmosphere.

The menu is extensive and boasts a big selection of fresh meat. You are able to view the grill area from the most of the tables in the outdoor area and the get aroma of the meats being cooked to get you really hungry.

They also offer a specials menu displayed on a blackboard with alone one could order off without having to look at the main menu.

We had to order from the specials. Sweet breads to share as a starter and then to roast suckling pig. The sweet breads just melted in your mouth and had that just grilled flavour definitely a recommendation.
The roast suckling pig you could either have accompanied by jacket potato, chips or salad.

Upon arrival to the table the pork I could of done with another mouth to feed the portion was huge and so was my partners. Plenty of the crackling also.
It was delicious and a big task to get through all the richness. At the start both portions seemed equal but getting more into it I seemed to have got more ribs and less meat to a point actually I didn't get a lot of meat but was sufficient. My partners however was full of it. We both thoroughly enjoyed both dishes and shared some Sangria which was some of the best we had on the island.

Fish dishes are limited to grilled cod which I had a few days later and was very tasty.

The only downfall is no vegetables its salad or potato.

The desserts they offer their own homemade goat or sheep yogurt with walnuts and local honey which is outstanding and do recommend.

If you are looking for a good grill I highly recommend going to Can Caus, the staff are friendly and most speak different languages and are very sufficient in getting your drinks and food out to you as soon as they can.

Their is plenty of parking outside and access for disability is not an issue.
Prices are very reasonable for fresh and generous portions. Mains are between €12-27 and a 1l Sangria about €9.

I will be heading back very soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal out with friends, families or business.
