We were in Ibiza in the week 07.07-11.07.2008
and had dinner in Bacchus, Santa Gertrudis, Ibiza.
Santa Gertrudis is the upmarket place to go when
you are looking for some nice atmosphere and really
good quality food. We were standing outside Bacchus
restaurant one evening late when one of the staff
(the owner ?) stepped up and just pointed out that
they also had a garden terrace - if we wanted to
have a look...
This being so nicely said, we stayed and were not
The menu was explained in interesting detail - and the
meals that arrived on our table were up to expectations.
Inventive Mediterranean cuisine with innovative features,
like raspberry sauce on fillet steak or tuna in herbs and
Apart from the really good meal, it was the service
and reception that pleased us the most - warm, really
friendly and made us want to stay. The surroundings
also make for a very cosy dinner in summertime Ibiza as
they have paid attention to all details of interior design.
