THE highlight of our time in Tobago. Ian was so knowledgable and the variety of exotic animals, birds and plant life they have in the most natural settings they can make possible are just amazing. Like nothing I've seen before. Must see, but definitely call ahead to ensure a great experience
We have been to Tobago several times but never before known about this wonderful wildlife haven. Run by Ian and his partner they care for sick and endangered local wildlife with the aim of protecting the species, breeding and releasing healthy animals and babies back to the wild. With an obvious love and respect for all the animals they have hand built this wildlife park and aim to also teach and educate as well as protect. The tour lasts between 1-2 hours but was interesting and enjoyable for all ages in our group from 2 to 74. We loved it and would definately recommend it. My only slight negative was being a little remote it was tricky to find. Once you are on the Belmont Rd just keep going!
Roy and his highly informative guide, Ian, run this small enterprise on a shoestring budget which makes you feel you are contributing to their genuine efforts in supporting endangered species.
You'll need your wits about you to find this place in the middle of the island but you won't be disappointed when you see the graceful ocelot, querky quenk, cute armadillos, viscious opposums, scary snakes and cayman. You get all the information you need to introduce you to the miriad of creatures including all the birds around as well as the flora and fauna.
You'll easily spend over an hour in fascination whatever your age and you'll feel satisfied with the entrance fee of around 25USD and the effort you made to find the place!
Mr Corbin's collegue Ian (from Ireland) is a true nature lover; with over a houndred subjects to tell you anything about, he is really interesting to listen to, patient and very open for questions. This is an absolute must-do on Tobago; all good things come together here.
Very educational outing. Mr. Corbin ensured that my teenager and I were well informed. We both asked questions and he answered every one. It offered a great amount of animals.
Great place to visit in Tobago, relatively easy to get to. Road is well maintained the whole way. Animals are rescued pets or injured wild animals. Good few hours and Roy Corbin was great at keeping our young son entertained. We were able to pet the anaconda and go into a few of the enclosures.
