We spent 2 nights at the ARX CEO Hotel in Zarate, Argentina. The hotel is great. Everything is brand new. It has very nice blond wood floors, new bathroom, excellent beds. We paid US$80 a night. The Hotel is still under construction, August 2013, so there was pounding and workers around. But the work did not start until 9:00 a.m., and the workers did not bother us. A simple but nice continental breakfast is included. The elevator is an old freight elevator (obviously the building used to be something other than a hotel) but, for us, that just gave the place some atmosphere. The Hotel is walking distance (about 3 blocks) to the main street in Zarate and around ten good restaurants and many coffee shops.
The bed was King - size, and the hotel brought in a single bed for our daughter for no extra charge.
The local people who seem to own and run the place seemed very serious about making us happy - and they did.
