“Stunningly Beautiful”
Reviewed 28 June 2013

Possibly the best Dolomite lake walk? Absolutely gorgeous! From the far end, take the further walk up another 30 minutes to a fun little café restaurant.
90 minutes in all including several narrow steep step ascents so a good work out too!

“stunning”
Reviewed 22 April 2013

Superb mountain lake which happened to be partially frozen at the time of our visit - which merely added to the beauty. So did the resident and rather curmudgeonly resident male swan that took his territory extremely seriously and gave a marvellous display of malevolent defence as he repeatedly beat off off young pretenders to his domain.
Great circular walk, and great coffee at the local hostelry.

“Emerald mountainlake, with beautiful circular walk”
Reviewed 24 March 2013

Pragser See is a beautifu emerald mountainlake, located in a somewhat hidden valley. On warm days, you can relax on the lake by boat. There are several routes but the circular walk around the lake is very nice and beautiful. With some up and downs, suitable for kids also, as it's not too long, yet it offers all the time charming views on the lake and the peaks around it

“A beautiful location and perfect length walk”
Reviewed 23 October 2012

What a beautiful place! We went here with our 5, 8 and 10 year old children, whilst staying in Villabassa. We had a lovely alfresco lunch overlooking the lake and then walked the circuit around it. It's the perfect length walk to take in the scenery and it's not too long for young children. There is one steep section, but other than that, a very simple walk. The kids had a swim, despite snow being visible on the peaks above us! This is a beautiful place for young and old.
