Passed by Ave Maria the other day and I was amazed at how such a place could be allowed to deteriorate so much.

Seemed virtually run down, no patrons, very slow service...the food was however great

I'll just assume I passed through when all the revellers had left; but theres no denying the fact that the place seemed empty and has deteriorated considerably

Perhaps another visit will change my opinion....i hope!

I booked this hotel for 2 days / 2 rooms for 2 persons, but I never used it, because on arrival, everything was totally away from the description of the hotel. There was no power, no internet, and they could not tell us when they would have fixed their generator. We had to find another hotel as it was impossible to stay there. The rooms was booked in at HOTELS.COM and we never got our Money back, as the owner refused that there was a problem, and Hotels, com did listen more to the owner than their own clients. No need to say, that I will never move to that hotel again.

Ave Maria Health and wellness resort is an ok place to hang out with your family. Food is great and it has a lovely view of the atlantic ocean with ships awaiting berthing on it. i didnt like the customer service though

The food is not fresh and I saw hair strand in my food. I didn't enjoy the place. I won't recommend you to be there not at all. If you even complain nothing will be done about it. They just don't care. Save your money

My husband and I just returned from a 5 day trip to Ghana. The name of this hotel is misleading coz there's no health and wellness activity except for the massage room. The rooms are big,the tub in the bathroom is huge which is a bit too much for quick showers. Please ask them to spray insecticide coz the mosquitoes are monstrous, beware of room 3(one of the Windows is broken,so it's a mosquito haven). Now to the good part,it's a 30 mins drive from airport or Accra central,it's just by the beach. They have a deck where you can sit, enjoy the waves and order something to eat.Their bbq chicken is really good, the other food in the menu is okay(it's limited though). The breakfast is brought to the room and it's same bread, egg, juice and tea everyday. This hotel have a lot of potential that needs to be tapped into.
