My husband and I stayed here one night toward the end of our trek in October, and it was my favorite. Good location, excellent hospitality, clean, comfortable and warm beds, and warm showers! Never underestimate the value of a warm shower on a trek. Our stay there was so pleasant. I highly recommend staying here.

I highly recommend the Alpine Lodge in Namche. It is clean, comfortable, warm, has Western toilets and some rooms even have showers. The views from many of the rooms and the Kitchen/Dining area are stunning. The service and food are great. The owner, Tenzing, is very interesting to get to know and very helpful. It has all the comforts you'd want, but still has an original Himalaya Tea House feel (not a "westernized" feel). Excellent value.

I fond the stay at Alpine Lodge most pleasent.

It's very central, and just the few footsteps up the hill that give a good wiev and a quiet night.

Tenjing, man and wife, give this place a warm and kosy athmosphere, and are very forewardcomming.

The food are superb, and its warm, do to good isolasjon and windows to the south.

Friedly staff, good food, clean room, free wifi and paid hot shower!! Can't ask for more in such remote area!!

Tried mixed pizza and milk tea!! You must feel warm as real delicious!! Location has a pretty good view of the whole Namche town!! Value for money!!! Should have a visit of the Namche Gonda to learn more about this city!! Highly recommended!!

Alpine Lodge has huge clean rooms, warm blankets, view is !incredible! as you live a bit above the city.

The hotels in most villages on the Everst treck are pretty the same, but not in Namche. Guides tend to pick up their familiar hotels where they can stay free of charge (if they bring you along)and meet with fellow guides. It is possible to find a place to sleep in Namche for as low as 1 euro per person, but extras, such as shower, particulary hot one, mobile, computer, camera charging are available for additional charge (per piece, per hour etc..) In case you want/need those, insist on going to Alpine Lodge Hotel. Double room with private bathroom cost about 12 euro in lower season. There is a shower (boiling water when sun is shining, warm when there are clowds), there are several plugs, so you can charge parallel more devices in your private place, without handing it over to somebody or loosing sight from it. There is also a restaurant/common room, where you meet other individual travellers. Food is delicious, but what i appreciate the most, is that you do not have to eat there if you do not like. (In other accomodations you might be forced to eat at their place, otherwise the room rate would increase.)
Alpine Lodge provide spacious, well kept rooms, you do not need your sleeping bag, as there are warm soft blankets. The city view is fantastic, unforgotable! I used to sit on my bed and obseve the evening lights. The co-owner - lady from India is very nice, helpful and speaks perfect english!
I love this place, and would deffinitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Go for first floor: at this altitude it is exhausting to climb anywhere.
