The Lac has a very good local reputation. We enjoyed a very pleasant lunch, which was efficiently but emotionlessly served.
For entre, the Pot de Fera (off cuts of the fish otherwise served as a main dish) is well recommended. The Saint Jacques based sauce cum terrine is tastely and light.
I particularly enjoyed the Cochon Iberico for a main dish and my partner’s dorade was moist and tasty.
A bottle of Satigny Chardonnay completed a celebration lunch.
A relatively expensive meal, but worth the cost although a bit more engagement during the service would have made it a great choice. Why do restaurant fail to appreciate that we come for the dining experience and not just the fancy food?
