We stayed here in 2013 whilst on our skiing holiday. Very nice room, with enough room very warm, we were on the top floor with a balcony over looking the village. The wellness center was very nice choice of saunas and steam room, and very large jacuzzi.
Very pleasant staff were very helpful and the bar had a good atmosphere. Excellent food and very large range of wines from the cellar could be a bit costly, I would recommend keep a tally of what you are buying, as at the end of the week it could be a surprise.

Room Tip: Top floor with balcony.

We spent one week of ski holidays at the Caminetto.
The hotel is nice and the cuisine is superb !
All the employees were particularly friendly . My grandson (7 years) enjoyed the people in the hotel.
there is also a nice relax area for sauna and massages.
The price / quality for the week was excellent.
However we had a small disappointment at the end of the stay... We had booked via booking.com 7 days of half-pension. but we had to leave one day earlier. Caminetto refused to reimburse the day (and night) we lost... Nobody is perfect...

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Hotel Caminetto whilst skiing in Folgarida. The hotel was well situated for the slopes and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all extremely friendly and helpful. There were 7 of us in our party including a 5 year old. The hotel mini club kept him occupied on an evening before ( and sometimes after) dinner and anything we asked for his dinner was provided for him - much to his delight. The food was plentiful and delicious. We did have to change room, simply because we had been allocated one on the first floor but due to the amount of snow we had a massive drift right outside our window which made the room very dark. They gave us a choice of two other rooms and we were very happy with the choice. Overall we cannot fault this little gem and are seriously considering returning next year as it offered something for everyone and the skiing was great too. Also the spa was lovely after a hard day skiing.

We stayed here with out 2 grown up children whilst here skiing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The reception/bar area is warm and welcoming. The bedrooms are bigger than average and of a good standard. The restaurant serves typical Trentino food, which is well presented and plentiful. There is a buffet salad bar to compliment the 4 course meal, which is waiter served. The breakfast is buffet and has everything you could want. My daughter and I had the 30 minute massage which was worth every penny. We didn't really use the spa facilities but it seemed to be well equipped. There is a boot and ski room for storage. Overall a very good hotel, very close to the ski station and all facilities. Would recommend this hotel and would stay again. Thank you to all the staff who were all helpful and friendly.

We hadn't been skiing in the Dolomites for some years, but all our memories were of great family run hotels, so this one had something to live-up to ....... And it did !

We didn't arrive until 9pm on the Saturday evening, after a long drive up from Venice, so were a little bit sceptical about our chances of getting any food. We needn't have worried. The dining room was kept open and we were treated to the full four fantastic courses !

And that set the tone for the rest of the holiday - great location (60 m to main lift), great atmosphere, great 'authentic local' food (with a steak and chips option for the Kids and the unadventurous adults) and fantastic staff - nothing was too much trouble for Adriano and his restaurant team - Dumi, Alessandro and Ilario, or Losiana on Reception.

Booked for 2014 within 2 weeks of getting home, which says it all !

My wife, our son and I booked this hotel through a travel agent for our ski holidays. We were taken care of as if we were guests in an Italian family. Although we first had a room on the first floor that was far too small for 3 people, one request to the reception and our room was changed to our satisfaction without any hesitation, without grumbling, without discussion. The restaurant is excellent for those who like to have a variety of food with surprising combinations and local products. The kitchen team made special dishes for carnival, for St. Valentine’s day and there was one evening dedicated to local dishes. The wine selection is correct with some surprisingly good local wines. One small point for improvement is the breakfast. I would like to see some more diversity from one day to the next and especially some fresh fruit (there were only apples). When we arrived in the morning on our first day, we could still have breakfast and before we left in the evening of our last day, we had a nice dinner before the normal dinner time. The prices in the bar are reasonable.
The service is really nice. I experienced here again that if you treat staff in a nice way, you are treated the same. They really tried to do their best to make our holiday a perfect stay. I liked very much that you do not need to bring you rented ski material back to the rental shop, the hotel takes care of that.
After a day of skiing, I love to take a sauna and the hotel spa is nicely equipped with 2 excellent saunas, a Turkish bath and a Jacuzzi. There is a relax room and a “silent” room. Two girls are continuously cleaning the area and explaining the different possibilities. I did not miss a swimming pool but the kids did; they found the Jacuzzi too cold.
In this Val di Sole the ski-pass for the larger area (Folgarida Marilleva connected to Madonna di Campiglio) is a little bit expensive (+/- 250 € for 6 days), the infrastructure is well-maintained and the slopes are really nice.
Next year, we will be back!

This is the wonderful hotel offering the unique combination and very friendly and personal service but professional in equally impressive facilities. The food is amazing with very reasonable priced lunch menu during the day. Everything about this hotel is very nice indeed. We felt welcome and well looked after. When we came back after a year, they actually recognised us! We stayed in the basic room which although maybe not looking as a 4* was very specious.
