Four of us ate here recently and we were all impressed with the service and the food. Two fish dishes were very good and a request for a change in the sauce was no problem. A pasta and pizza were also top class. We also got some excellent desserts. Our waiter was friendly and efficient and the price was reasonable.

We've just returned from our trip around ireland which was kicked off by a fabulous meal in Gaffney seafood restaurant. Our waitress, Anna, was so friendly and efficient. She made us feel so welcome and looked after. The food was excellent, all so fresh and full of flavours. A true gem of the west.

We have dined here before and always found the food to be really good and reasonably priced. However on our last visit we were very disappointed. My husband ordered the seafood ravioli special dish, this consisted of five pieces of ravioli in a sauce.......more like a starter....I had the fish special which was very tasty. The service was abysmal, we overheard another table asking about the early bird special...which we were never even offered! We left feeling very disappointed and my husband was famished......

We had an excellent dining experience in Gaffney's in early September. We had two local seafood dishes: salmon from Clare, and a cod. Both were delicious! Patrick, our server, was busy lighting the cozy fire when we arrived, and we appreciated it as the evening progressed, and Patrick made us feel welcome and appreciated throughout the meal.
