This café is set in the lovely quaint village of Louisburgh. If you are looking for a warm, cosy, welcoming place to eat, you have to visit the Red Rose Café. I brought my niece & nephew to eat in here and it provides quality home cooking at very reasonable prices. The staff couldn't be more friendly and are always willing to do or give you extra! The owner Bridget Gillespie is a real family woman whose wonderful with children and seems to be very well liked by her customers.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place. The negative comment on here about staff needing 'training' is highly implausible...frankly if it is fine dining & silver service you are looking for, then why did you choose a café? It openly writes on the Red Rose Café menu, that if you are not happy, to please inform the proprietor and they will endeavour to correct things.
The staff are so sound and helpful and the food is great...I will definately be back for a visit!
