Description: Altamira is one of the most famous restaurants with multiethnic cuisine in Athens. Our restaurant opened in 1995 in Marousi (very close to the metro station). This two-floor mansion brought a fresh atmosphere of gastronomic culture to Athens, offering a wide range of ethnic cuisines such as Mexican, Indian, Arabian and Asian. Apart from the high-quality taste, the dreamy decoration and the ethnic music are a treat to the eyes and ears of the visitors which create a unique experience. If you are looking for a cosmopolitan restaurant with good food, we will be glad to see you in Altamira!

One of the best places for multi-ethnic food in the general Athens area. Service is discrete but effective, fast and friendly and the food is extremely well made, well presented and most importantly tasty. The prices are from reasonable to relatively cheap for the level of quality of food, service and the general atmosphere especially if you opt to have your lunch or dinner in the "garden" area of the restaurant. A Sunday buffet is also offered.

Highly recommended for all those who would like to taste different ethnic dishes on the same table.

Usually when a place offers too many different things, they aren't successful in it.. Imo, it's a good thing to specialize.. However, the food wasn't too bad. The only thing that I didn't like at all was the fact that we had to wait for about 30-40 minutes to get our main dishes.

It's a wondeful place to eat out when in Athens. I mostly visit its little sister in the northern suburb of Maroussi. Great ambiance, good ethnic food and service. Ask for Stavroula. She's the smiling lady who will do her best to make your day. By the way, it's also very affordable, with low prices and special offers!
