If you plan to visit El Yunque it will be well worth your while to come here. Located on the south side of the rainforest it is far from the maddening crowds and gives you the experience of solitude and calm that you would hope to get from a visit to a rainforest. Situated high on the mountain, the views are gorgeous as is the sunrise and sunset. There are trails on the property leading to the rivers and the waterfall. We were the only two people at the waterfall and it was worth the trek ( I hate trekking btw) . Shirley is a great host and her breakfast are delightful. I would definitely come back here again.
