Description: The Bridge End Inn, situated centrally in Talgarth, on the banks of the River Ennig opposite a restored 18thC Corn Mill. Offering a great range of fresh cooked meals from locally sourced produce and Farm Assured Meat, providing Real Ales and good selection of Wines. A warm welcome awaits you. Well behaved paws and boots after that walk in the mountains. Ideal for cozy dining and the cellar room offers a great space for larger group bookings. Warm log fires in winter, and alfresco patio dining in the summer.

The Bridge End Inn has been recently refurbished by the new owner. Outside looks like any other pub in the area and is apparently work in progress but inside is a true country inn, decorated very tastefully with both tabled seating and comfy sofas in front of open fires and wood burners. Whether sat in the main bar or in the very special cellar area with its own riverside balcony, the food, service and staff are amazing. Possibly the best pub/restaurant I've had the pleasure of eating in. The Landlady and her staff are really welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Even has free wifi! Apparently they will be opening accommodation soon too (I think they said May)-look forward to eating there again and maybe even staying there in the newly opened B&B rooms. Highly Highly recommended.

Ordered a vegetarian burger- absolutely great! Very refreshing to have a tasty home made burger rather than a cheap tasteless pre-prepared one. Nice home made chips and really good coleslaw. The lady who served us was very friendly and polite- wouldn't have guessed she was new!

Gave in to a desert- good choice! The fudge cake was very good- very generous portion and staff offered to seat us by the fire which had just become available.

Very attentive- many thanks to the lady bringing out the food too!

We were recommended this place and were so glad that we went. The landlady Jane arrived about an hour after we got there as she'd been lambing and sat down for a chat with us. We chose our meal from the extensive menu. My husband had Rump steak with peppercorn sauce which was perfectly done and I had goats cheese in breadcrumbs as a starter, which was nice followed by Mussels which were delicious. The nicest I have had in a long long time! The place was busy with locals and visitors and everybody was so friendly. We were made to feel so welcome and by the time I left, I felt like a local. Would definitely go back. It was excellent!

We had a superb night out with friends. The meal was great 3 had steaks which were cooked to perfection just as we requested the fourth had Moroccan lamb which was organic and also cooked to perfection. The staff were very pleasant and obliging and the decor and atmosphere were great. If you ever visit Talgarth it is well worth a visit.

My husband and I had a tasty, generous, well presented lunch today. Plenty of choices on the menu and using local produce.Hadn't read reviews just took the chance to call in and was not disappointed. A welcome pub that we will recommend to friends and will return again very soon. They deserve success. Thank you.
