“Fantastic!”

To coin a phrase "arrive as strangers, leave as friends" but this is so true of Bridget and Boak House. It has got to be the best B & B we have ever stayed in and I can't wait for the return visit. We stayed in the Lowlands room and the views across the bay are outstanding, even the view from the bathroom has got to be seen to be believed. Bridget is the most wonderful hostess, her home is clean and comfortable and at breakfast you are spoilt for choice. On arrival we were offered G & T's and canapes in the sun room and this we found was the norm for the rest of our stay, Bridget's G & T's are legendary!. Never before have we enjoyed the company of our host and their friends or been made to feel so at home or indeed, relax so quickly in the company of strangers. I cannot fault Boak House B & B in any way and would urge anyone considering staying in Coverack to enjoy the "Bridget experience"........truly amazing!

Room Tip: All the rooms have excellent sea views and whilst Lowlands room is en-suite I understand the Paris r...

A fantastic place, we couldn't speak more highly of Bridget and the fantastic Boak House. Boak House has the most incredible views from every window, and is set in an idyllic location. We loved our room, and Bridget was the most amazing host from start to finish - who on earth would consider it part of the service to plonk you in their conservatory with your feet up when sunburnt, freezing flannels for you and plying you with gin. She - and Boak House are amazing, and cannot be beaten. Well above and beyond the call of duty, in every way.

Room Tip: Bridget showed me the other rooms on a quiet day and they were all great, stunning views from all.

The most exceptional B&B and warm, friendly attentative Bridget made our stay. My boyfriend whisked me off for a night away for a birthday treat and I have to say Boak House was one of the most exceptional B&B's I have had the pleasure to stay in (and I've stayed in a few!!) The views are stunning, the house is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was delicious. My chap and I although compleatly 'Coveracked!!' would highly recommend this little gem to anyone visiting Cornwall. Big thank you Bridget, Malibu, Paris & Beluga x

This is a one off as a B&B. You will be very lucky to find another like it! We arrived after a long walk and were immediately welcomed by Bridget who quickly revived us by delivering a tray of canapes and G&Ts to our room. We stayed in Paris room which has amazing views of the harbour. The room is very comfortable. Bridget is fantastic, so keen to make you feel welcome. She asked if we would like to join her and some family + friends for a second G&T in the conservatory before we headed into the village for dinner. Breakfast is great and when we couldn't quite manage the whole Cornish fry up Bridget insisted that she bake some baguettes to give us sausage sandwiches for lunch that day. If you are in the area make sure you stay here, it is a real gem.

Room Tip: Go for the sea views

We've done quite a few B&B stays in the UK and elsewhere over the years. We thoroughly enjoyed Bridget's hospitality and Boak house. Her breakfasts were superb and fueled us easily until the pre-supper gin and tonics! The views from the conservatory are stunning. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer. Bridget is also very well connected to the local community and its eclectic cast of characters who drop by for a visit, a chat and some great storytelling, making it a memorable stay indeed. If you're visiting the Cornish coast this is the place to stay!

Boak House has a wonderful position with stunning sea views. The owner was wonderfully welcoming and the room was elegant and stylish. Breakfast in the conservatory, looking out over the bay, was memorable. We wished we could stay longer, and hope to return to Boak House. Wonderful value.
