Francine and Dick were outstanding hosts and the view was fantastic. The house overlooks the harbour and has a nice, large garden/patio for relaxing. The house itself is quite nice and an easy walk from town. The breakfast was excellent--fresh and home-made. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely huge house in beautiful & large grounds overlooking the township and harbour - a beautiful site, but quite a walk up the hill from the harbour and main part of the village. We had a beautiful room - VERY large, with a sitting-room area and a nice bathroom, although no bath, just a shower. Also no TV in the room. A nice breakfast.

A wondeful surprise is the eco-friendly nature of this bed and breakfast run by Francine and Dick who are friendly and very accommodating hosts providing local information for the intrepid traveller.
Breakfast is an event to be savoured at leisure with freshly baked bread, farm eggs and the homemade preserves and honey served being a very special treat.
Penmarth House is on an elevation that allows it to overlook the village and Coverack bay and jetty and its location makes it a very pleasant five minute walk to the village passing St. Peter's Church and burial grounds. I walked among the burial grounds and marvelled at the wonderful condition of this very old and peaceful graveyard.
Penmarth House Coverack is ideally situated for being the base for further exploration around the southern coastline of Cornwall and I recommend a visit to Lizzard Point; the southernmost point of Cornwall for its dramatic views of cove and cliffs, all while seated and enjoying a warming pot of tea.

Room Tip: Master bedroom for stupendous 180 deg views, space and sunshine

Dick and Francine are so wecoming and friendly and were very helpful - showing us maps and sharing lots of information about the area.

Generous breakfast with two kinds of home made marmalade ;honey from their own hive. Bread is homemade with 3 seeds and eggs fresh from their own chickens - a wonderful rich deep colour.

Beds comfy and warm.

Good if possible to book a sea view and life will be bliss

Was fortunate that friends who live in Coverack gave the phone number of Dick and Francine who run Penmarth House B&B high on a hill overlooking Coverack village and harbour but only 5 minutes walk into the village little longer climbing the hill on return! My sister and I had rooms with views that will leave us lasting memories as will the friendship home produced honey eggs marmalades and amazing bread baked each morning to Dicks competition winning recipe

The b&b is located in a magic place, with a unic view over the ocean and the small peaceful village of Coverack, in the splendid Cornawall's South coast.
There's a wonderful big green lawn, flowers, trees, bees! (I mean hives, not flying dangerous bees)
The owners (I'm sorry I forgot their names) are so gentle and nice, they produce a very tasty honey, they gave us great information and suggestion for our visit around Cornwall.
We suggest everybody (those traveling for business, in couple, with family, with friends, alone, everybody..!) to go there and enjoy this wonderful place.
Ciao Federica & Andrea from Sicily.

We have been to Dick and Francine in "Penmarth House" in August 2012 for several days. It was very very nice.
Great view from the hill down to the village, the port, the sea. Nice rooms. Great breakfast (homemade jam, honey,
bread). And a lot of nice conversations with great advices for our holidays. Great place to be ! And: You have to eat "fish an chips" at the Old Lifeboat. Never got better F&C ever in England.
