“Well worth a visit! Magnifico!”
Reviewed 5 June 2014 via mobile

Food excellent, staff friendly and attentive, lots of choice on the menu and various beers and lagers available. A lovely restaurant where you don't feel as if you are sitting on top of other diner's. I had a fillet steak which was cooked perfectly. Definitely worth a visit.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

Decided to go for family lunch on Easter Sunday. Despite the normal outside advertising the '666' menu and the standard two and three course Sunday lunch menus we werei told that because it was Easter Sunday the standard menus did not apply and only three course meals were available, price £16.95.This was despite having prebooked and not being told at the time of booking and the boards outside, that the special menus did not apply,On approaching the manager and telling him that we intended to take up the matter with Trading Standards, we eventually received a refund of £6 per head. But no apology. Will now be looking for another Italian restaurant.

“Disgusting service and average food!”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

We were over charged £15 for an average meal and when questioned this we received an attitude from a teenage boy. They refused to correct their mistake as we had already paid.
The food was not authentic Italian, found a hair in one meal and in our Beef stew it was more fat then anything else!
Not a pleasant experience at all.

“Great place, staff and unbelievable food”
Reviewed 25 May 2014 via mobile

Our second visit to the italian farmhouse and just as good as the first. We arrived early and were offered our table but chose to have a drink in the bar. A great real ale choice for my partner and wine choice for myself and very polite and friendly bar staff. The waitress popped in and called us when it was time to take our table, seated us and took the drinks order allowed us plenty of time to take in the spring seasonal menu no pressure as you find in some eateries. We ordered antipasti and gamberoni starters both outstanding. The prawns were big and deliciously cooked with a spicy tomato sauce, the antipasti was very good nice selection of meats cheese, veg, bread and tomato chutney. On to the star of the show the mains the orders were monkfish wrapped in Parma Ham with a curried mussel sauce. Wow absolutely delicious cooked to perfection and the curried mussel sauce was definitely a winner. The other main was sirloin steak, peppercorn sauce and homemade thick cut chips. I will only have my steak well done and the waitress was lovely in reassuring me this would happen no pink lol. Drinks bottle of rose and prosseco a coffee to finish as portion wise no room for dessert. Staff ordered a cab home the bill was reasonable so a fantastic night all around .
