We recently called into the Stackyard on one of regular walks around Herrington Country Park - this was not our first visit. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Service was quick and the food was, as on all previous occasions, delicious. The portions are huge - maybe too much for some. Dessert was terrific. Great pub, great value for money, eat in the conservatory area if you can.

I always enjoy the beers they serve and the meals are great. It's not my nearest pub, but well worth the walk.

On a hot Friday evening we ventured into the stack yard somewhere we've often visited & ate food. The heat outside didn't make us want to eat a large meal so we looked through there new tapas menu which appealed to us & we weren't disappointed. It was outstanding we chose approx 5 dishes & each 1 was beautiful. Great idea chef perfect for the nibblers out for a drink.

Went to the Stackyard for lunch today. The food is all cooked fresh to order and is magnificent. You won't find better food anywhere else. The menu is quite small but this reflects in the quality and service. Well done to the chef and staff and we will be back
