Lovely setting down into the valley and up out again. After being talked in via a phone call - beware it is outside drain - we received a lovely welcome from the owner. The room was super with all the extras you would want and spotlessly clean.
We had opted for dinner which was freshly cooked and we ate with the owners.
Drinks on the terrace prior to dinner was lovely in the warm sunshine. Very interesting to talk about different subjects from old houses to travel to engineering and much more in between. Great for exploring the area, and peace and quiet, but away from facilities such as restuarants. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
The only thing I don't understand about a lot of accommodation in France is that they don't seem to have showers fitted to walls so that you can stand under them with your hands free.
