This is a popular country hotel with a restaurant - part of the Logis chain. It has a number of chalets around a pool, and is popular with French holidaymakers, so is likely to be quite busy.
We had a standard 20 Euro menu, with aperitifs and wine with the meal, the total coming to 58 euros for two. The food was lovely, based on local produce, with sensible portion sizes. The cheese selection was large - the dessert was perhaps a little disappointing, but still tasted fine. I would think this would be a good place to bring children for a meal.
The service was perfectly adequate. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, but not the sort of location or ambiance that one would necessarily return to in a short space of time - but definitely worth a journey if you are nearby. Easily accessible from the Cahors-Souillac D road.
