Have stayed in this cottage at least five times. Have vacationed in many others but this is the only one we keep returning to. Comfortable, very well equipped and a great barbecue.
Isolated but near enough to Noyant for all your needs including great wines at reasonable prices.
Returning again this year
The welcome pack was above all expectations, home grown veg, jam and lovely fresh eggs. Bubbly too! Lovely setting with its own lake which my husband fished in. Owners were friendly and really helpful as to what was on where, markets etc. Would highly recommend and very likely to book again.
Tranquil escape at its best in rural France. Usefully located within easy reach of the richness of Bourgeuil market, the chateau of Saumur and the and the tranquility of Le Loir. Perfect for exploration and relaxation
We had a superb break at Le Patis in February last year (our second visit!) The weather was outstanding for the time of year, evenings were chilly but very cosy with the log fire. Everything you might need is in the ‘lake house’, it’s very well equipped and we would definitely recommend a stay there at any time of year.
Lovely walks around the lake and surrounding area.
Mike & Maureen were exceptional hosts and very helpful.
There is also a huge list of things to do & places to go including restaurant recommendations and markets to visit.
If you are looking for the perfect retreat; look no further.
Comfortable, well equipped one bedroom cottage in rural setting. Own lake, peaceful and relaxing. WiFi
Small cottage well presented with all that could be required for the self caterer, including equipment for leisure and pastimes. Owners were very friendly and helpful and even left some essential ingredients in the fridge to start us off. A pleasant experience. Thank you very much.
Just right for us two but this doesn't mean that this cottage is small at all. Clean and neat, comfortable bed and some really welcome extras in the fridge. Maureen was approachable and helpful and has terrific local knowledge. Good parking, well off the road. The restaurant at Linieres Bouton (Bar/restau de la Gare) does good lunches and is handy.
The bread from boulangeries at both Auverse and Noyant was just too good to resist - both are about a 6-7 minute drive away.
And you are spoilt for choice for chateaux to visit within an hour's driving.
Can't comment on internet as we had decided to be free of it for a week!
