Stayed in 'les chouettes' with extended family for 2 weeks in July. We chose the location as we could drive the hire cars from the Paris airport and also do trip to Disney and use as the base (Disney hotels very expensive for a few families together!)
Sarah and James were extremely helpful throughout the whole booking process and were very accomadting in fitting in with the days the flights arrived.
We arrived late at night but could tell even in the dark the place was something special. Beautifully done up with everything you could possibly need. Kitchen very well equipped. Sarah had even got us some bread and milk supplies as we had arrived with a small child and supermarkets closed.
The grounds of the gite are beautiful and well done out for kids.
The area is very rural with small villages around and a several good supermarkets nearby - but a car is definitely required.
Nigloland is a must to take the kids - they all loved it! We tried the all you can eat restaurant in the complex which was excellent.
We were there over Bastille day and were made to feel very welcome by all the locals and we participated in the festivities.More
