We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Very Spanish décor and so clean you could have eaten your dinner from the floor. Breakdfast was a delight served on the covered patio. Service was excellent too. We ate on the terrace where there was a great BBQ and overlooked the lake. We could have stayed longer. Efficiently run hotel. We'll be back.

We loved every second of our week long stay. Staff were very friendly and always ready to help.
Location is absolutely stunning with amazing views of the lake and mountains especially from the terrace for our evening meal and the sunsets were just gorgeous. Perfect getaway from stresses and strains of everyday life.

Superb location, stayed two nights, had evening meal and breakfast both days. Food at breakfast was basic but good, bread was fresh as was the orange juice, Coffee was on request plentiful & freshly made. Evening meal was on the terrrace overlooking the lake an excellent setting ( a cardigan or fleece may come in handy as night approaches) the sea bass I had was particularly good. A nice touch was that a table had been reserved for us each night, as the hotel restaurant was also open to non guests. The receptionist also doubled up as breakfast & bar staff, the wobbly coffee (liquer coffee) I can wholeheartedly recommend, two & I slept like a log. Rooms were spotlessly clean in fact the whole hotel was. The staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly & helpful the directions we got to the Alhambra Palace in Granada were spot on. Will be back next year to use the hotel as a base for exploring more of Spain.

Room Tip: we had a corner suite with lake & terrace view on the first floor Room name Adelante which was q...

Leads to slice of tranquil paradise. Twas a dark and stormy night when we arrived just before the storm and power cut. But even with no booking and a late arrival our hosts were amazing and even squeezed dinner out of the bbq to feed us (delicious also). Booking required at weekends, as this place will be full of coastal dwellers escaping the heat. The hotel itself is elegant and classical, with interesting artwork and sculptures, capturing the eye without overloading the senses. The internal courtyard provides a cool sun hideaway, the pool also cool. Views across the lake draw the eye to the many beautiful features of the landscape, and the sky orovides a ever changing artwork. The ecological slant of the hotel will make it a favourite amongst the ever growing aware travel community. If ever i return to spain this will be the first stop.

This is absolutely charming hotel with the friendliest staff in Spain! A beautiful old building with surrounded by the lake with olive trees as far as the eye can see. We used it as a stop over on our way to Cordoba.

Dinner was on the terrace and the waiters were so friendly and accommodating. When my wife turned down the bread on account of being gluten intolerant the waiter skipped back with a freshly warmed up gluten free roll!!

Breakfast complimentary, in the lovely courtyard, modest but delicious. Included such delights as homemade marmalade on fresh bread, homemade olive cake, Spanish toast, Serrano ham and great coffee.

I inherited a property nearby and needed to stay nearby. Trip advisor came up with this hotel. Although this is Friday in May I think I share the hotel with 2 other guests although that doesn't bother me. I find the surroundings tranquil and very peaceful and a million miles away from what I do day to day as a London Bus Driver. I recommend this to any stressed bus driver. I found myself daydreaming by the pool reading whilst overlooking the slow moving scenic background in a hazy silence. The food is good too although for evening dinner may set you back £20 . Breakfast excellent . So to recap if you want to de stress yourself come here for a few days. Enjoy !!
