We came as a large family with young children and opt for 3 Avista Club rooms. Due to unavailability of all three rooms, they upgraded one for one night to suite. Suite room (511) is huge and has nice views to both Kata town and beach. Recommended for honeymoons. The other two club rooms were also of good size and good balcony with views to Kata and Karon ( 519 and 520). As the resort is on a hill top, views of Kata is fantastic but walking up and down the slope to beach and Kata town will help u burn calories! Room cleanliness is Super, amenities are good ( got DVD player) only wish that they could provide toothbrush and paste.
In general, find this resort a good one for travelers with young children!More
